Installation of hip crash pads. First make back plates using drawings from Jeepdraw.com and some help from a local boatyard
Next, get canvas and foam pads from Worthing Canvas. After that, hole drilling - or maybe not??? After a bit of careful examination and scratching around, I found all the right holes were already present in the tub, just filled in. Quite easy to punch these out with a screwdriver - lost the odd bit of paintwork and also made a couple of "mistaken identity" damages
but nothing too drastic to repair.
Wonderful, no drilling - so with holes all located, press the plates into the canvas (fitted like a glove), fold canvas all over (no glueing) and fit with studs facing the tub and screws fitted through from exterior - Voila! Hip Crash Pads all done and looking very, very nice ![]()
